Hello, Community Partner!
My name is Stephanie Trimis, President of the Ocean Beach Elementary PTA. We are looking to raise funds to pay for the enrichment programs currently at our school (Guitars in the Classroom, Sing 'n Speak Spanish, STEM enrichment, etc). To help raise these funds, we are organizing a silent auction at our upcoming community event, Skate for the Kids on March 16th. We are looking for donated items to auction. If you or your business would like to donate items, please let us know. You can email me at [email protected] or call/text at 630-639-1873. We'd gladly arrange to pick up the items or they can be dropped in the school office at 4741 Santa Monica Ave, San Diego, CA 92107. All gifts are tax-deductible.
If you aren't familiar with our PTA, our mission is to support Ocean Beach Elementary by advocating for the students in our school community, organizing volunteers to support the amazing teachers and staff members serving our students, and providing critical funding so students in our community receive enrichment programs and learning resources they deserve.
Ocean Beach Elementary is a Title I school. In other words, 48% of the students that attend the school come from low-income households. Many of these students do not have the ability to experience enrichment opportunities outside of the school day. Our PTA is proud to fund these critical programs for all our students so they can have the same opportunities as their peers in the community. Please consider partnering with us to help support the students in our community.
